The Vario 4 plow by Zaugg is designed primarily for airport runways and highways where speed and size is an important factor. The unit features a revolutionary adjustable mould board which can be operated either hydraulically or mechanically from the cabin, allowing control of the snow movement regardless of the depth of the snow. With the patented ZAUGG Trip Edge System featuring up to 6 plates with rubber spring mechanisms, the plow can go over objects such as manhole covers and railroad tracks at high speeds without damaging the machine. This makes the Vario 4 outstandingly safe and comfortable to operate. It is designed for large maintenance vehicles.

The standard plow angle is 35°, but can be built to go up to 55°.
